Capilano Highlands is another one of North Vancouver’s premier family communities. Home to the wonderful shopping and dining area of “Edgemont Village”, the neighbourhood has a small town feel where merchants and customer’s refer to each other on a first name basis. There are more than 75 shops that cover a wide range of offerings including: grocery store, butcher, baker, clothing stores, banks and coffee shops. Many of the homes are walking distance to the village. The area is also home to the Murdo Frazer Pitch and Putt golf course located in the heart of Capilano Highlands. The Capilano Heights Chinese Restaurant on Capilano Road is a local institution which has been operating for over 40 years.
