The Influential Women in Business Awards were created to draw attention to exceptional business women in BC and Business in Vancouver is once again seeking nominations for BC's most outstanding business women in private and public sector companies. Honourees are influential leaders in their industry and the business community at large. They help influence and shape policy at some of Canada's largest companies, committing time and resources to mentor other women in business and contributing their expertise on corporate and not for profit boards.
Honourees are chosen based on the criteria of professional accomplishments, influence, and business community involvement. Nominators may submit nominations for more than one individual. Self-nominations will also be accepted. Please do not submit multiple nominations for one individual. All nomination forms must be submitted online.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Nominees must be based in British Columbia.
- Nominees must be female.
- Nominees must be available to attend the Influential Women in Business Awards Luncheon on March 8, 2016.
Please note: All nomination information is confidential and only winners will be announced. Winners will be notified in advance of the event.
Our intention is to give worthy individuals the recognition they deserve as well as to use their example to inspire other women in business to achieve similar success. Five women will be profiled in a spring issue of Business in Vancouver and honoured at a special awards luncheon where each winner will share their leadership lessons to an audience of Vancouver’s business community.
