Built shortly after the Second World War, many of the original Norgate homes have experienced significant renovations.  The community is located close to all of Marine Drive’s amenities and public transit, and is just a short drive to downtown via the Lions Gate Bridge.

Norgate Community School, located near Norgate Park, has played a central role in the neighborhood since 1951 when the school was first established. The school is located south of Marine Drive in a quiet residential community that consists almost entirely of single family dwellings and town home complexes.  The catchment area includes the Squamish Nation Capilano Reserve Land, which is just to the west.

It is one of the most affordable neighbourhoods in North Vancouver.
