Ambleside

Ambleside is defined by the expansive Ambleside Park (including an off-leash area for dogs) that stretches along the West Vancouver waterfront. A favourite recreational destination complete with par-3 golf course and sandy beaches, Ambleside offers more than people-watching and leisure activities.

The cluster of shops along Marine Drive services a diverse community of seniors and students, professionals and people attracted by the area’s waterfront charm and proximity to the ski slopes of Cypress Mountain. A few blocks away, Park Royal offers West Vancouver’s premier shopping experience and transit connections to Vancouver and beyond.

Tagged as the “town centre” of West Vancouver, with significant new developments planned along Marine Drive, Ambleside’s home prices reflect the neighbourhood’s value. Ambleside average sale prices are in the $2 million range, with the most affordable properties being apartments. Apartments start at approximately $300,000 while detached houses can list for $2 – $5 million.

Ambleside Shopping

Marine Drive has Ambleside’s major cluster of shops, services and restaurants. Ambleside Farmers’ Market runs Sundays from May through October and features local produce, crafts and entertainment at the entrance to Ambleside Park.
