Lower Lonsdale is North Vancouver’s historic waterfront neighbourhood. Lower Lonsdale stretches up Lonsdale Avenue from the Lonsdale Quay to Keith Road. Its history is inseparably connected to the lumber and shipbuilding industries on the North Shore and Burrard Inlet. Lower Lonsdal (Lo Lo)  is home to to the Lonsdale Quay Public Market and SeaBus which connects the North Shore to Downtown Vancouver.  Lower Lonsdale is currently experiencing a large waterfront renewal processes. Many of the old shipyards are being replaced with new public spaces, condominiums, retail outlets and hotels.
